The main objective of Helping Hands is to provide relief from poverty, destitution, sickness, misfortune, or helplessness, having no regard to colour, race or creed. The aim is to help the disadvantaged; physically, mentally, socially and spiritually, and to bring hope and meaning into the lives of these people.
Helping Hands International reaches out to needy people both within our local and overseas communities. Since our conception in January 1998, we have had the opportunity of serving the community during times of disaster, such as the Townsville & Katherine floods and the Tsunami in the Solomon’s. |

We would like to introduce Phillip Subu, he is 19 years old, he was born in Malaita on the 24th October 1989 and is in his last year of High School.
Phillip’s Father, Pastor John Subu of the Christian Life Centre in Honiara, has been a board member of Helping Hands International Solomon Islands since its inception. Over the years we have watched John’s family grow up and followed carefully their progression through their schooling years.
